Autozone, Doc. Buy the Actron, and the GM cartridge. I got it on sale for less than 80 bucks.

$80?!?! They sell for over $200 online where I'm looking! Are you talking about the carterage price bud? :?

Oh by the way...bustin my *** more than I should over this TB, but the L27 was invented by satan himself. I cannot remove the lower throttle cable because I dont have enough room...oh and did you know you have to remove one of the exhaust manifold heat shields to take off the throttle retaining shield? Because I didn't!

BTW: Do I need gasket compound or can I put the replacement gasket on dry?

Cleaned the TB, all looks well. One of the 2 MAF wires is grayish compared to the other. 2 thoughts, its damaged from nitrous -or- discolored from nitrous.

This is what I'm gonna do, replace o2 sensor with AC Delco (which I should have done in first place) and other small cheap parts for maintance (ex: PCV) and then I'll update on the situation.

Cool. Keep us posted.

I just found my receipt for the Actron. The tool, cartridge, and cable (12 pin) were 124 and change. All together. From what Don just posted, it was probably on clearance as they were going to discontinue it. I guess I got a bargain.
