Rough idle and SES

I've had the SES shoot some soft codes at me for the past month (comes on, turn car off and back on then it goes away). However, starting yesterday it started to idle really strange and the rpms went down to probably 600 and kinda idles rough...up and down, up and down, etc. Then I turned the car off, back on, and she was fine - SES went off too.
I have 2 thoughts:
1.) That NAPA Echlin O2 Sensor I put in just a month ago (when SES started showing up)
2.) I sprayed some TB cleaner in and maybe a hair got on a sensor?
Call me stupid but where is the MAP sensor?? I've only educated myself on the MAF sensor and a local mechanic told me the MAP sensor could be dirty, but my Chilton'* says only 96-99 models had the MAP sensor.

Funny I had the same problem. I found that if I held the rpms to 2000 and held it for about 30seconds when I let off it would run fine. It only had this problem durring cold starts. I think the one thing we have in common is that we sprayed nitrous over the MAF sensor..coincidence? I've heard other people having the same problem too. I hope its not the MAF sensor, those jokers are a little expensive aren't they? Lemme know what you find out

Dude if it was the MAF sensor that would be a relief if you ask me. Yeah its still over $100 at gmpartsdirect, but thats what you get for using nitrous...I accept the risks. I just want to know whats causing the problem, once thats done THEN I can say "damn".
I've got the intake off and yadda yadda right now, but I'm scratching my head right now. I have the very end of the throttle cables disconnected (right by TB where you can push the throttle in) but how do I remove the cables from the shield about 6 inches down? Do the clips squeeze together and get pulled towards the driver'* side? :?:
