I would go to a wrecker first. Alot of LeSabre'* were built. Should be able to get a good price there.

Patched mine the same way after it got a rock it. Little hole on the outside, but a big chunk of glass off on the inside. Removed the headlamp assembly, put a piece of Scotch tape over the hole on the outside of the lens, then laid the lens face-down on a shop rag. I put a big blob of clear silicone sealer into the hole in the lens from the back side. Let it sit that way face-down for a day or so while the silicon cured in the hole, and it'* been fine ever since.

Access to the hole from the back side wasn't too hard since I'd removed the bulb sockets. I put the blob of silicone on the end of a popsicle stick, and used that to reach into the lamp housing through the socket openings and get it exactly where it needed to go.
