Default Replacing Fuel Pump.

ok here it is..
i have two PN#'* for an ACDELCO electrict pump (for my 94 SE)
#EP305
#EP339

dont know which one to get. anyone got any ideas.

the prices from a regular one and a performace pump do not differ that much..
should i spend the bit extra and get a performace pump? like the one on seriesoneperformance.com?,are there any real benefits?

thanks guys.

You need to check the code (tag) on your existing pump to know which one you need.

There is no benefit to a performace pump, particularly for an L27, and even more so if you're not modified. The L67 flows alot more air, and therefore needs alot more fuel, but it still isn't much of a difference for us in the Series 1 community. A stock Series 1 L67 pump will flow enough to support 400hp.

As Willwren said, stick with the AC Delco.

There'* a 3 letter code you're looking for. It should be on a sticker visible if you look up at the tank assembly before you pull it down: CRC or CAC. Make sure to get the right pump. If the sticker is removed, you'll need to get the old pump out first.
