Replacing the carpet
After probably years of leakage, I can smell that my carpet underlayment needs to be tossed. And the carpets is pretty rough too.
I was going to pull & replace the carpet myself. Are there any tips or tricks to getting the carpet out? Also, I have the 8-way power seats for both front seats, are they exceptionally heavy or have hidden bolts? Lastly, I saw a thread where a member here had a carpet supplier make a nice-fitting mold made for the bonnes- but now I cant find the thread, and I am wondering if that carpet will fit the LSS/other H-bodies...???

Pull the bottom of the back seat
Pull the door moldings up
Pull both front seats
Pull the center console and shifter assembly
Carpet will pop right out after that. I'd suggest getting fresh padding underneath as well.

Thanks. Are there retainer nuts under the floorpan I need to access from under the car, or are the seat rail nuts, etc on the inside?

Can someone provide any pointers and pulling directions? I want to avoid snapping anything or having loose change fall down somewhere it should not
Many thanks
