Not all leather is created equal either. All hides are actual cow hides and they all have a uniqeness to them such as scars and cuts and etc. Some hides are thicker than others and then there is just the markup and company your buying them from. The Vinyl is pretty common at around 30.00 for original ( unless its old and needed) and an average of 15-20 for standard vinyl and all the way up to and beyond 50.00 per yard for the late new stuff like ultra leather ( which is a very soft vinyl) .

Hmmm. Interesting. Lots of the pros don't like to share info so I'm glad you came around.

It'* also interesting that Bill mentioned the sewing machine from Harbor Freight. I'm on an email list and just saw the one he mentioned for $249. I have a set and a half of seats in my basement and would like to at least experiment with continuing my two tone interior. It seems like the chips are falling in the right way
