Default removing trunk carpet

I am soon going to be sound insulating my whole trunk and i was wondering how to get the carpet on the sides off. Of course the bottom just slides out but the sides are held on by these random clips.

Those clips are for your cargo net. They should unscrew, then you can pull it out.

The cargo net clips just screw off, but there are round smoother ones that dont screw off. I tried pulling one off and it just broke.

they are pull out fasteners you need Door Trim Pad Clip Remover or similar, a 2 prong fork type tool to pry it out.
