i removed the egr tube. there was a small crack on sc side. i welded up ab ground smooth.then added red high temp rtv to both ends. drove car and saw 1 kr at 5k rpm better then the 5 i had. fuel psi @ idle-38 vacuum un hooked and car in gear with load psi at 46

also i only saw 5.5psi boost. maybe cause the ect was 192* and IAT was 102* when at a stop it can reach 150+. i ordered the heat insulator to wrap my intake pipe and make a air filter shield. also bought the stuff make a duct for cool air outside to enter.

my sc nose seal keeps leaking. i replaced it with a viton seal when i replaced my coupler cause the factory seal was leaking. and it drips on my belt and keeps squeeling. what should i do

Viton is a bad idea on a high-mileage SC. The long miles have worn a groove in your input shaft, and the Viton is too durable and stiff to adapt itself to that groove. I suggest using OEM Nitrile.

Leaking oil and a bad coupler won't cause low boost, but oil on your belt will cause slip and low boost.

i replaced the coupler to get rid of the raddle under the hood. i good with performance upgrades just not fuel injection and on gm cars.

where can i buy a completely rebuilt nose cone for my sc. so i dont have tow worry with the seal leaking if i replace it again.
