Default Removing Harmonic Balancer

Finally got the HB off my 3800 VIN L. Went to hardware store and bought 3 2 1/2 inch-6mm bolts, found good sized washers and bolted them up thru the HB puller. Found the adapter on the thruster bolt to be too big. Wrestled around and found the screw on the installer had a hole thru the center of the bolt. Got the 4 inch push rod that came w/ the installer, inserted it into the puller.......few turns on the ratchet........Wa....La......off came the HB!

Who designed this stupid idea anyway......used to the exterior threaded hole type.

Now to the J-B Weld putty to patch the cracked waterpump bolt hole that cracked while trying to drill out the broken stud on the thing! J-B putty is great stuff.....wait an hour...drill it.....tap it......screw in the bolt.....hope it don't leak.......yep, good stuff.
