Default rear struts removal and install

Alright, thanks for the help on my last issue, now i'm facing a possible big one. There are two small holes/leaks in the rear struts/shocks (which ever you want to call them) the leak is in the rubber seal in the middle of the strut/shock. can I fix that? or do I basically gotta go get new ones for the car. Granted the car has 150k and these have probably never been replaced. The recurring problem is that the compressor continues to run which wears down the battery. so by morning the car is dead and I need a jump.so for now i have removed the fuse that runs the compressor. Hope that wont hurt anything in the meantime.

Other things to mention... the struts are in front of the coil springs so I probably dont need a coil compressor tool. also does anyone know what the time frame of working on something like this at a steady pace? Five hours or something I don't know. I guess i'm just looking for info if you please

Thanks

You will have to replace them. There is no fix for them. The fuse you want to pull is for the ELC.

Please add your year and trim of your vehicle to your signature line. That way when you start asking questions in other areas of the forum, we all have a better idea on how to assist you. Click on "Quick Links" above, go down to "User Control Panel" and then click on "Edit your Signature" It'* pretty straight forward from there.
