Default Rear Strut Parts

Im going to switch the rear suspension to the monroe sensatrac struts, do i have to change the upper strut bearing plate or is that just a recommendation?

Suggested. Not necessary unless you know they're bad, but this is the best time to do it so it doesn't cost you another alignment later.
