Default Rear reading lights (Update, they work)

All of a sudden, my back seat looked dark the other night when I hit unlock. I got in and saw both my rear reading lights were out, and the passenger side grab handle had cracked and the lamp switch had fallen onto the seat. Noone had been in my back seat for at least a week, and they had worked since then.

Is there a fuse for just the rear dome lights? How do I take off the grab handles? Anyone got a rear passenger tan grab handle with reading lamp?

the handles pull off by pulling out the clothes hangar plus two clips that hide behind the handle when it is up.

How did both lights go out and the switch just fall off all at the same time? Are the bulbs still good?

There'* no separate fuse for the rear lights. There is a connector in the A-pilar for the lights, sunroof and fog light switch though. However, if your front dome light is working properly then I don't think that the connector is at fault.

I haven't had a chance to check the bulbs yet. I'm still trying to figure out how this all happened.

I'd pull the headliner down and look for something suspicious like this.

I pulled my lamps apart in the last 95 SE I had and it was a bit of a mess. The switch basically fell apart (it'* a pretty cheezy). I also broke a couple of the clips that hold the handle/light assy to the roof. I tried to jump the switch so they'd allways be on, but they aren't controlled by the same line as the dome light. I jumped them and they stayed on all the time... It didn't matter if the dome light was on or off.

If your lights are bad let me know. I had one out and picked the junkyard clean. Dealer wants $8 each. In case anyone needs one still in the plastic...I got one from the dealer...lol

I do need a passenger side rear one. The whole handle/light assembly. Mine spontaneously cracked in half and the switch has now disappeared.
