Default Question about Blower Motor

Does anyone know whats supose to be in that hole next to the blower motor? When the blower motor is on, I can feel air coming out of it and going into the engine bay instead of the cabin.

I just looked at mine and I have a piece of plastic sticking out of it. It looks like it'* part of the blower motor housing from the inside. Almost like at line-up (guide) pin for installation placement.

Stuff anything in there... although I doubt much air is really coming out that hole. You probably need to clean your evap core.

Thanks. Can you take a pic for me so I can see?

Thats what I was thinking, but it looked like something was missing so I figured I would ask.

I've been having a minor problem with the blower motor at the moment that I have already diagnosed, but I need for it to stop raining so that I can get under there and fix it.

There isn't really anything inside to be broken.

Yeah but I feel like im from the old school and if there was something there, then it had a purpose. lol

Im wondering though, with all of the tinkering, how much of the actual car is NOT there IE missing screws, pieces, broken parts etc that I dont even know about??? lol...I dont know, I just dont have the money to poke around and then break, or find something already broken.

I guess I should wait until I get paid then to tinker in case I need to buy something.

For me: no Car = no way to job :(
