Default Question about alt bracket on series II.

I need to remove the alt bracket so I can pull out the turbines on my SC to reseal it. The bracket has no visible bolts to remove and it seems like coolant runs through it which is a silly design to me. I dont know if none SC series II engines have this same set up but I posted it on here to see if you guys now how to remove it. thanks.

if it looks like this, you will see where the bolt holes are.. it uses 3 of them

and yes, coolant runs through it

HOWEVER, it would probably be easier just to take off the entire supercharger/throttle body and fork out the $7-8 for the Upper manifold gasket

the coolant elbows just pull out.. a good idea to replace them, both are only $4 at the parts store

cool I think I will replace all the gaskets. Can you work up a parts list I would need to replace the lower and uppers. I see you guys hollering replace those and I dont know if the previous owner did so. Also, what color is dex-cool? I read this eats up gaskets and i wanted to know if i have that in my system. The coolent I have is orange. Is that dex-cool? I have 116k on it now.

dex is orange.. get some Prestone Long Life in there.. (yellow)

Aluminum framed Lower Intake Manifold gaskets - 89017825
Upper intake (supercharger) gasket - get the felpro kit from Autozone, comes with the yellow o-rings for like $8
Some Ultra Copper silicon RTV for the corners of the LIM
coolant elbows - $4 at the parts store

now you talk about removing the rotors from the supercharger housing. are you loosing boost or why do you want to do that? if you SC is leaking oil, its from the nose drive, which means you dont have to pull the rotors/rotor plate out. while you have the supercharger nosedrive off, replace the coupler, a $30 part from ZZP or INTENSE, grab 2 bottle of GM supercharger oil, and some red gasket maker to re-seal it

Thats the thing. I removed the snout to do the coupler and the part of the uim gasket that is under the snout crumbled to pieces. I didnt put gasket maker on the roter side and now I have a leak which threw and lean code with the SES light. So I figured may as well do the whole thing.
