Default post UIM failure trouble

Got my car back from the mechanic after UIM failure...they flushed the block really good, put on a new MAP sensor and UIM. I haven't drove the car very much but noticed the t-stat was leaking coolant yesterday so I changed it to a 180*(I had been planning on doing it for some time)....I drove the car a few miles last night and the 'Check Engine' light came on...I looked this morning and the oil is full of coolant again.....any idea'* what could be leaking now?...could have the mechanic fluffed up the new UIM? or could it be leaking in from somewhere else?

Thats what I was thinking....but would they cause me to drop over a quart of coolant in less than 15 minutes?

if the seal is blown out, I wouldn't be supprised.

I agree, either the lower gaskets, or they didn't do the coolant elbow properly are the most likely suspects. Gasket for the coolant in the oil, elbow for the extra loss.

wouldn't be the elbow if they didn't take the LIM off.
