Default popping sound from passenger side front

I was having a little trouble getting air out of my power steering system, so I jacked up the front end and turned the wheels from stop to stop to bleed the system out some. While I was doing this, I noticed that there was a kind of dull popping sound coming from around the passenger side strut assembly. I suspect the upper strut bearing, but the other topics I've read said it'* more of a creaking sound when the bearings go, and I'm definitely getting pops rather than creaks. I know I need a suspension job anyway, but I don't have the cash at the moment, so if this strikes anyone as familiar and an easy fix, I'm all ears.

Default

On further examination and experimentation, the popping sound is caused by the torque prevailing nut catching and releasing on the rubber bushing in the strut mount -- nothing serious to be concerned about then, right?
