Default PLEASE HELP

My bonnie has no power alot now. When you first crank it. put it in drive, you have to floor it to make it go anywhere and then when it finally catches up, it goes fine. but while it is doing this, it triggers the check gages light on the DIC. Also, this morning on my way to school, i was doing 60 at 4500 rpms and it finally threw itself into overdrive and dropped to 2300. please help

Sounds very much like your torque converter. I think you're getting alot of slip. You need to get a scantool on it while driving to verify it. If I'm right, a tranny flush MAY help you buy some time, but usually when it gets that bad, it'* too late.

had my car scanned at the trans place and they show no trans codes. they do show that my alterneator is only charging about 8 volts and my quad driver something or other is messing up. i broke down 4 times on the way there. i was also told after the mechanic drove my car that it was starting out in like 3rd gear instead of first because of not having enough juice to know better and because the quad sensor is not responding or something like that!!!

Your shift solonoids require 12 volts to operate. So does everything else in your car. I suggest a new alternator and batter before anything else. Verify the voltage first, though. While driving, and while idling.
