Default Plastic Valve Covers On a 96' Bonneville

I was just wondering if it would be any advantage to replace the plastic valve covers with aluminum covers off a 88' Bonneville. That is if they will fit. Just by looking at them it looks like they will fit right on but I am not sure. I have a 88' that is setting down in the field with aluminum covers and if would benifit me I would swap the covers out.

Thanks in advance for the help.
