Default hey got some stuff to say

first of all you put in glove box the amp will over heat second theres only one place on a bonni to run the power wire through the fire wall and it on the drivers side of the car up and to the left of the brake pedal second if you have the power antenna you can use the grount and remote in the trunk on the power antenna. second if you have a factory deck they dont have rca outs and any aftermarket high output conversion kits dont WORK beleive me i tried very hard to keep my factory deck and wasted plenty of money trying oh and blaupunkt is a very good brand. i personally would go with pioneer but thats my prefference good luck on the whole project stereos are always fun i have 2 1000 watt 12 with a dig 1fared cap and a 1000watt 2 channel alpine amp that kick ***
and running the 2gauge all over was not fun

So using the factory deck for high power is a waste of time? I thought the power came from the Amp not the deck? So why wouldnt a factory deck work? Thanks

Yes.. why ?? I was originally going to keep the stock deck and use an in-line converter ( from speaker to rca, with built in resistors and all ) to power up the amps.. I don't see why it would be a bad thing unless those line converters generate too much background RF noise that the amps pick up... input... inquisitive minds wants to know..

Default ON THE AMP THING

YOUR CORRECT KINDA IT WILL PICKUP UP ALOT OF NOISE AND IF YOUR RUNNING ANY KIND OF POWER THATS WORTH RUNNING I KEPT HAVING THE PROBLEM THAT MY DECK WOULD ACCTUALLY CUT OUT WHEN THERE WAS A LOAD
THAT AND THE ILL FINISH IN A BIT GOTTA RUN

So if the deck is cutting out due to over load...
What happens if you splice the front and rear speaker wires from the deck to 2 line converter.. one to power subwoofer.. the other amp to power the other speakers. This should help control the load in a sense the unit doesn't get loaded down..

But you said that it will pick up a lot of RF background noise... humm... I wonder is there a way to work it out..

It'* a hack, plain and simple. Your mileage may vary. Personally I have a nice aftermarket head unit with 3 sets of +4V RCAs and that'* the only way I would go. But I have friends who have done the converter thing, granted their stereos were not as fancy as mine.

Default THE DECK THING

OK HERE GOES WHEN YOU RUN THE AFTER MARKET CONVERSION ITS RCA OUTPUTS ARE LIKE 1/4 OF A VOLT TO RUN A AMP NOW DAYS YOU NEED AT LEAST A 2 VOLT PREFERABLY 4VOLT OUT OTHERWISE IT SOUND AND PUTS OUT LIKE CRAP OR JUST PLAIN CUTS OUT. AFTER MARKET DECK IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO IF YOU GOING FOR ANY KIND OF PERFORMANCE.YOU CAN GET NICE 1 AND 1/2 DIN DECKS TO LOOK FACTORY OR DASH KITS. AND IF YOUR PUTIN IN A AMP TO RUN COMPONENTS YOU NEED TO REPLACE FACTORY SPEAKERS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BLOW THEM

Jesus Christ , where have I been !!! Fist of all the head unit is the most important of ALL . It'* the sound processor ! Always go good when you go cheap you will find something better and replace the cheap thing anyway . Kenwood makes GREAT head units ! Just changed my sony to a kenwood got it for 300.00 ! KDC-X559 . As far as the wires . use the factory ones . GO TO CIRCUIT CITY and buy the conectors you'll spend around 40.00 but it'* better than splicing any of your wires ! Get at LEAST 4 gauge for the power to the amp! . The easiest way to run the wires are to run the amp wires to the radio and cut the radio speaker wires and connect the amps wires , that way the connection is still in the radio area! PIONEER ! That'* not 300 watts my 90 if your lucky . NEVER look at peak power always RMS . Make sure the amp has a hi pass filter . That way your speakers don't get kiled by the BASS . I recomend MTX . Good , affordable reliable , american made , sounds great and they are always under rated . If the box says 30 watts your really get 90 watts and they will give you a certifivcate with the results on your amps. If you have more money , go with JL audio ! . Infinity makes GREAT speakers for your car GET GOOD RCA CABLES - monster cables should do the job to prevent distortion!any more questions let me know!!!
