Huh? Are you talking about the "performance" button to the left of the shifter? If so, the button does not make the car do second-gear starts.

i had to disagree with someone else on that because of the word in other cars like firebirds and gps they have the same as 2nd gear start the 97 gp'* the thing is on shifter the 92-96 its in the left side by drivers left shin.

It just changes the shift points at wOT (wide-open throttle). There'* been discussion about the possibility of adding it to a car that doesn't have it, but you'll have to wait for the wrap-up on that. We're working on a little experiment.
