I need the part numbers for the left and right drive axles for a 96 SSEi and the 98/99 SSEi'*.

Got your years a little messed up there. The major jchanges ALSO happened in 97, which is unique:

94-96 is 26078585(R) and 26078246(L)
97 is 26060180(R) and 26060181(L)
98-99 is 26065927(R) and 26065926(L)
