This is the code im throwing with my Bonnie. I know the problem. When i wrecked my car about 7 months ago they had to do some body work. And just a few weeks ago we found that the lead to the charcoal can had been crushed by the engine mount and is now leaking. Is this a problem i can live without fixing or could this have more adverse effects.

Can be fixed with a simple vacuum line. Cut away the bad area and replace with a new vacuum line. You wont pass emissions with a leak.

Luckily living in Michigan we do not have to pass emissions testing

Yeah i guess. So would i have to replace the full line? I dont know where it runs to the mechanic just showed me where the problem was. Or is this something that could easily be done?

You should be able to cut away the damaged area. Then slip a silicone vacuum line over. You can buy a pack of hose at your local autozone or advanced auto.

Sounds simple. Will i need anything to seal it or should the silicone tubing create a seal on its own?
