Default Over sized tensioner pulley

Just put a over sized tensioner pulley on my SC belt, it looks to be a 3.625". There is VERY little gap between the belts where they pass. I can fit a .006 feeler gauge threw, but a .008 I can feel rub. Shoudl it be that close, or is something not right?

You are correct. It'* a 3.5" I took it off and checked it, a bit easier that way.

Here'* before I removed it.

Then I put it back on and here'* what I had

Looks a bit better, have no idea why the difference. Checked the belt and didn't see anything wrong.

Have you ran the car yet? That will set the tensioner where it will be. What belt are you running?
