Default Anyone running "non-stock" sized tires on their 16

My 95 calls for the 225/60/16 sized tires. Has/does anyone use a "different" size tire on their car with the factory 16x7" wheels?

I know on an older Mustang with 16x7'*, I could use 245/50/16'* or 225/55/16'* without the tire looking too wide for the rims, but I also know that would be shorter than the factory size...Has anyone used different size tires, and if so, what size?

I need two, so now would be the time (if there was a time) to upgrade, or make the change at all 4 corners...

Thanks in advance.

I was as wondering if I could run a 245 tire with out it rubbin on the stock rims.... When the tread on my tires gets low (probably not long from now ) I'll have to get some 245s

In the rear wells I had to pound the welded lip over, otherwise they fit. The shop was woried about it possibly hitting the tire under full suspension compression. ...and they also just nicked the front frame gaurds (that plastic junk) at full lock of the wheel.
