Hello everyone
No spark! wont start
Drove the car home one night and the next morrning nothing, would not turn over so went and got a different battery,turns over fine now.
I have been reading the post for alittle over a day now! i thought i had it figured out down to the vat key (nope) not it read some more and read that the car should not turn over with a bad key, (read some more) so i listened for the fuel pump and i could hear the (Hum) and the soft click. Pulled the a spark plug and sliped it back in the boot and tryed to start the car and there seems to be no spark, but i could spell gas on the plug so pump seems to work. Now what? any help would be greatly apprecated, hope its not a crank senser saw something about that also but hoping i missed something simple lol

Moving to 1992-1999.
Can you pull codes? Being a 94, it'* more difficult than 92-93 and will require a scantool. Is there any chance a local auto parts store will loan you the proper scan tool? You'll need one to scan OBD I with an OBD II cable/connector.

You may not see a spark with the plug just attached to the spark plug wire. You need to connect the bottom part of the plug to ground, either by running a jumper wire between it and ground (recommended), or laying the plug against a good ground. That can be a little iffy on how good of contact you make. Be careful to keep it away from any gasoline sources.
Have you had any experience in using a meter to measure resistance and voltage, or perhaps have an old timing light laying around somewhere?

I didnt know that! I will try and get a good ground to the plug , i have no experience in using a meter to measure resistance and voltage but i do know someone that does (sparkie) he should be home in a few hours.
