Replace the sender and you are good to go. And lets see about that other sensor you say is dangling.

EDIT: You have a 95 SE? Pressure should be around 60 PSI at 1850 RPM according to my AllData.

yeah replaced sending unit and my idle Psi is a fraction of the needles width over 40 at 200 so it looks like that is taken care of as for the other sensor thing I'm working on getting the pictures up right now be patient i ain't the best at computers

Not trying to Hijack this thread, but just didn't want to start a new one if this one can answer my question. I am having the almost identical problem as he is, except my needle actually does drop to the red and sets off the alarm ding when sitting at a red light. I do have an Orange Fram filter, and I also have a new sending unit. Dad says the sender was replace less than 6 months ago and was working fine prior to my current problem.

So did the sender fix wf2tm51 problem? If my unit is new, is the Fram most likely the prob? Is there a way to tell if it failed when i remove it?

Like I said I'm not trying to hijack, but I know you guys like to keep it clean around here. thanks
