Default Oil pressure guage maxed.

For some reason my oil pressure guage always reads at max and never changes. It'* obviously not working. So how do I change it or is it really that crucial since I change my oil every 2000k and I run royal purple. If it'* a simple fix can someone let me know.

Simple fix. Your oil pressure switch is shot and needs to be replaced. Its located behind the engine where the oil filter adaper is located.

Make sure you don't wait too long to have it changed. Mine was doing the same thing when I bought my car and after about a month it started shooting oil out. I thought I put a hole in the block, but it turned out to be the oil pressure sending unit.
