Default Oil Pressure

so for the past week it seems like my oil pressure gauge is going up to 90-100 when I get on the throttle. now I dont believe this is normal since normaly the oil pressure is usually around 55-60. Is there anything that could be going wrong the car seems to run normal. But I would like to adress the problem.

Take the oil filler cap off and run the engine. If you have pressure that high you will know. Chances are the sensor is bad.

With Dan here. As well if you look at the sensor, you'll probably see oil inside the connector.
