Default Odd engine surge at idle right after start.

I was out running errands today, and twice, when I got back in my car and started it, (transmission in Park) after about a second or two the (normal) gargling noise from my K&N intake started to get louder and the engine RPM started to increase, getting up to about maybe 3000 over the course of a couple seconds, then it went back to normal idle and was fine. Next time I stopped for another errand, it did the same thing when I started it again.

Anyone ever have that happen before? Ideas?

Will I lose any coolant if I pull the throttle body to clean it? (I would need to pull it to clean it, right?)

Just need to know before I start taking things apart!

Yes, a very small amount would be lost. Probably not enough to see in the radiator though.
