Default Normal Scan Readings 95 Series 1 SC

Hi all. I've searched around and found bits and pieces for readings. Here'* the situation. I've got the super deluxe Snap On Scanner for the weekend.

I'd like to do all the testing and get all the readings I need to really understand how well or poor my car is doing.

TPS .46
O2 fluctuating nicely (was new this morning...better fluc perfectly!)
RPM at idle 800
Temp looking good, fans working where they are supposed to.

Things like KR...do they need to be tested at WOT? And shifting...it feels fine...but heck..while I got this puppy I want to collect the necessary data in case anything happens later I know where I was.

Thanks for all the help

KR needs to be measured all acrossed the board...from Idle all the way to WOT.

Your numbers look good...I'm not sure what my numbers are right now....I should prolly look into that.

Mechanic Dan gave me the basics...but this is the Bonnie forum where knowledge transfer is free and I figured everyone could benefit.

More than just KR..all the readings my stupid hybrid will give me....since it doesn't say as much as OBD II

Depends on the scan tool....You can get a pretty good chunk of info out of them.

I had the Snap-On Scanner $3,500. He'* a full time professional. I spent too much time and many late hours helping him wrench when I was bored. Learned a ton, changed junkyard full of motors and now I get great prices if I need work done.....if he doesn't make me do it myself. Plus...big plus here... he trusts me to borrow stuff that costs thousands.

If my memory is correct, .46 isn't bad at all for the TPS.

the faster the O2 fluctuates the better (main point being that it does it every second or so usually)

idle - wish mine was that steady at 800.

KR - Need to go for a drive. You should see none at idle, none/low under mild acceleration sometimes, and usually a few degrees under WOT (a bit more with heavy loads, hills, hot days, etc...)

Ya the Snap-On Tech II will tell the cars life story, scan the ABS system, PCM, and SRS system.

Yeah....well guys..I had it last weekend and no one replied...cause you were all out cruising in your cars and nice weather.

Yeah..I looked at the readings. Went to CFootes place...read his 96 N/A. I had just gotten 1/4 tank through my first ever Super Unleaded...KR was 0 from 0-80mph.

His read serious KR on WOT (Driven by SSEi driver while N/A owner read scanner)

And he drove an SC for the first time and got HOOOOKED
