is the hole security thing with the chip in the key
replace the module

When those modules "go bad" they won't even allow the car to crank. A good cleaning would cure it anyway.

battery took a crap, new one installed under warrenty, no problems

I was about to say.... Just saw the vid... I saw the Volt gage drop down into the 7-9V area.... Thats way too low...

Glad it was the battery... Happens some times..
ya that is my 4th everstart in about 2 years (free replacement warrenty) there was corrosion on the top terminal the the NEG post was leaking

yup i think that was the case, a dead cell, the battery also started to bulge a little, so i knew its time was ending shortly

but all is well in SLE'* world


BTW how do you fill a battery?????
