Default "Newbie with a Tranny Q" Revisited ...

Hey all-

Getting to the point that I need to do something with my '93 SSEi about the hesitation when shifting from park into gear. It'* starting to do it even with the weather getting "warmer" like it is (if you can call it that ..). Anyway, Tbill mentioned in one of the replies to my previous post about the" forward clutch piston seal leaking/damaged." I was looking in my (GM) manual, and was wanting to know if the forward and reverse clutch servos was what he was referring to. Both the forward and reverse servos appear to be fairly easy to get to, even with the tranny still in the car (Forward near the passenger side/ tail end of the trans case, Reverse to the rear/side of the bellhousing on top). Just wanting to know if these were what was being referred to.

Also, are these available individually, or do I need to get a whole internal seal "kit"? I'm beginning to think that the "used motor oil"-looking (burned) fluid that I drained out may have been caused by the clutches being allowed to slip until the servos would fully engage the clutches.
