Guys, not to spoil the party but that trim is available for like $8 a door at the dealer. I posted the part #* awhile back, do a search on posts by my user name.

Randy those do look very nice indeed. Good luck with the SSEi.

I'm on my third set of those d***ed peices. I hate them. You might want to think about guarding that idea closely, I'm going to steal it

You kick a** Randy, I love your work.

It is nice to know that they are still available from the dealer, though. Not too bad either @ $8 each. Thanks for the tip Chris

I have the front ones from the parts car. If you have a junkyard near by, they pop off easily (don't do this if you're concerned about the paint on the door).

If there is enough response to these, I can look into having a custom extrusion made. I have no idea how much it would be but I would guess around $300 just for the pattern. They then could painted, polished or anodized. The finishing would be your responsibility. Are there enough people with broken trim or the desire to change to aluminum?
I could care less about the paint right now but when I tried to take them off of on my car I ended up getting a few cuts and scrapes on my hands and ended up just bending the heck out of it so I would rather just buy one that somebody had already removed. I just need the drivers side one because I do know that they are much easier to install than remove.
