new guy! messed up a pulley

Having recently done pulleys on my car. This sounds like one of the plastic pulleys near the engine or torque axis mount.

Your local autoparts store should stock the pulley. Probably a $15 part at most. While you have everything apart you might want to replace the other ones at the same time.

You gotta remove the motor mount to get to the plastic pulley you "melted". Look in Techinfo under "water pump removal" for the easiest way to remove the motor mount.

If that is the right pulley. W/o a good description we are guessing quite a bit.

If that is the pulley, the power steering pump is unbolted, then the mount is fairly accessible to remove.

That'* a great picture!
I've been trying for the past 2 days to get pulley #4 (powersteering) off my SE so I can change my water pump. I don't know if it'* frozen up or I need to do something different than break allan wrenches twisting it.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

isnt it possible to remove the p/* pump without removing the pulley?
