Default New to the forums and dead horn.

Hello all,

Just joined up with a pretty decent condition 92 Bonneville SE, only has a cracked turn signal lamp and a crack right brake ligt with less than 99,000 miles on it. Was my father'* but now its mine due to my neon dying at 120,000 miles.

Anyway, the only problem I have with it other than needing a good alignment and a tune up is that he took of the air bag to get to the horn that died. Now after trouble shooting it and getting new horns, all we get is a clicking from the relay area. Not really sure on what to do about this as I have to get this beast inspected soon (2 weeks) or than going to a dealership, however kinda broke after speaking $300+ for new keys with vats as the orginial'* were lost a year ago. Also to add to that it seems that the inflation device (light) comes on and stays on but I am going to chalk that up to him not connecting it back.

Asking first as I am a newbie to bonneville'* and have only dealt with compact cars.

Thanks all.

Keith, I'd like to be more help, but not really sure...

The two things I can think of right now are to check the grounds on that circuit and the continuity of the wiring.

EDIT: And oh yeah...Welcome to BC!
(thanks, toddster!)

Welcome to the Club. Can you test for voltage at the horns, with a meter or test light? It'* possible it could be the relay. Even though you can hear it click, it could still be bad.
