I hope this doesnt seem stupid, but can anyone post a pic of the line that is used to put Seafoam in? 98 SE. Thanks in advance....

In this pic, see the big round thing the brake master cylinder is mounted to? Sitting on the firewall to the right and below the INTENSE sticker? Now look at the vacuum line (3/4" or so) with the hose clamp on it (yours doesn't have that probably) just above the trans dipstick tube.

Pull that line off the booster and use it.

I have done the seafoam treatment, and now the cel is on. Is that common and will it go off after a few cycles? Car is running smoother than ever.

Did you change your spark plugs afterwards? You may be getting misfires. Other than that, I'd go get it scanned.

No, I didn't change them. I was guessing it was from pulling the vacuum hose while the engine was running. I'll give it a few cycles and see what happens.

Seafoam or GM top-engine cleaner will foul your plugs. You may be getting random misfires.

It'* common practice to change plugs and oil after this type of service.
