Default Need ICM information, what / where exactly is it?

I really hate to do this, but my original thread has derailed itself so many times, this is more on topic.

original information for my situation can be seen in this thread:
http://bonnevilleclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=72299

in a nutshell, i'm suspecting my ICM to be bad, but the only problem is, I don't know exactly what part it is, where it is, how to test it, etc...

all help is greatly appreciated!

See your 3 coils? Mark the spark plug wires so you know where they go when you put them back on. Then use a 5.5mm socket to remove the 2 bolts holding down each coil. The coils just pull right off, and the ICM will be completely loose. Then use a socket (not sure of the size) and loosen the holddown bolt on the harness, pull the harness off. Then take it to AutoZone to have it tested. Sometimes they test good ones bad though, and bad ones as good, so be weary about it. While you are at it, check Techinfo at the top of the page here and check all 3 coils' resistance.
