Driving home from school today, minding my own business. Crappy weather, raining HARD.
On pops the "Service Engine Soon" light. Stays on for a minutes, goes off, then back on shortly there after. then off for the last 5 minutes home. Whipped out the scan tool (was in the back seat
) It'* reading "History Code 56. Quad Driver Module (QDM) B Fault"
WTF is this? Car is running fine except for my tranny issues...

56 will be a shift problem (not just TCC, but all shift solonoids) or an EGR problem. However, the EGR can also set individual codes of 53, 54, and 55.
Clean and oil the pintles and springs (without removing the valve) on the EGR. Do this in place on the car.
Do you notice any shifting abnormalities? TCC still lock up around 48/49 mph? How many rpm'* of slip when locked up?

well, from what i can comprehend, the car is still haveing WOT shift problems. Tranny seems to get all confused and dosen't sound good. Hence I do not do that right now.

It'* the thing that has two tubes, one running to the front exhaust manifold, the other to the intake, running right over the thermostat housing. Normally has that mushroom shaped cap on it.

Ok, so I didn't know you could access the springs while they are still on the car
So I took the EGR off:

Put some WD40 on there, air dry and put it back on. Let the car idle for 5 minutes then put some oil on the springs. So, we'll see what happens...
Now one of the god damn screws dosen't want to go in nice and easy. I looked at it and it'* all aligned!
