What'* keeping you from getting that bolt out? Is it access to the bolt head? Sorry, but I don't have any experience with the pre-95'*.

You only need to loosen it a couple turns. The bolt hole is actually a slot to the edge.

PB blaster and a long breaker bar. Give the penetrant plenty of time to work. You don't want to snap the head off one of these.

Ahhh, so it IS the same as on mine.

Then yes, do as John says and use some PB Blaster on it. Let it set for 10-20 minutes while you take a break, then give it a go.

IF the problem is access then find a lower profile breaker and socket. Also you can jack up the engine a couple inches without taking off the engine mounts. Just make sure to give plenty of support to your tranny pan or you will poke a hole in it jackin off it. (not jacking the tranny off )

x2 on the pipe. FIne a 4' long piece of pipe and put it over the wrench if you need to. If double ended fine a cheap one and cut off one end.
