The whole assemble was replaced along with the pulley when I downsized to the 2.2" */c pulley

Never did quite figure out what it was, though. maybe Kennginn can pipe in here if he fixed it, or if it was ever a problem.

Just got the car back. When I started to challenge them they said that the belt could also use some "breaking in" to form to the pulleys. Geez, a thousand miles isn't enough?! BS, if you ask me.
