Is'nt 40 the middle line, if it is I run higher than that almost all of the time. Just after putting synthetic in did it run lower than middle line which is at idle

Your right 40 is the middle line so I'm running around 45 after warm up.

Shouldnt a person only be worried if the pressure is less than that?

K.. so for us canucks the middle is 40 PSI.. how much is each quater? 20 PSI? so MAX on gauge is 80 PSI??

Cause I'm close to 60PSI during warm ups and driving on hwy speed

Ok, My car was at 220* already warmed up and I am sitting at a red light. My psi was at 70. I forgot what take off was though. I shouldnt have nothing to worry about? THis isnt high at al? If not, forget this post existed.

220 doesn't always correspond with lower oil pressures. However I would be surprised if it read that after you had been driving for a half hour, and idling. My sensor did used to read too high, until I changed it out.

So you were 7/8 on your oil pressure gauge?

I changed it back in March. It read the same way before I changed it, after I changed it and still to this day.

Been watching the last couple of days, mine normally hangs around 60 psi.
