Default Is My IAT OK?

Through my scanner at start up the temp reads within a few degrees of actual outside temp. After it warms up it reads about 30-40 degrees higher than outside temp. Is this normal or a sign of a bad IAT?

This is totally normal and indicates a good sensor. Typically when they fail or are disconnected you will read -40*F or something in that area.

Thanks! That rules out one more piece of the puzzle.
