That'* exactly what it sounded like. First thing I thought was that for some reason the temp was high. But the guages were rock solid. Nothing sounded funny and the car responded like it should with everything I did. Just when I hit 75 it would ding and the instant it went under 75 it turned off. very strange to me.

I would think this would go away after a week or so, but I'll toss the idea out anyway. You don't have a plastic bag melted to your exhaust somewhere do you? They can get caught if you run one over that is blowing down the road, then they melt to the tailpipe and stink.

I tested it several times because I didn't believe that was what was causing it. As far as the plastic bag goes, I didn't notice anything. I'll get her up on jacks this weekend and take a closer look
