Most aftermarket remote modules are stuffed up under the driver side dash...look by the fuse panel or just follow the after market wires to the box and yank it out.

No don't yank just unplug the battery then snip all non factory wires and reconnect the factory wires.

Or just find the fuses some where by the remote box and pull them out and your done.

EDIT......

First unplug battery then find fuses for remote starter and pull them out.
Then reconnect battery and see if car starts and shuts off properly.
If not put fuses back in and take your car to your local car after market installer and have them fix it....like Best Buy.

Oh yeah...welcome to the BC
