Default my brother did it again

the beautiful 96 bonne broke. he just got it back from the tranny bein rebuilt, now the pulley busted. so hes got to take the engine out to fix it. i think im gonna offer to help. any suggestions for him that i can pass along? its a 96 SE, and its beautiful.

The pulley? Which pulley exactly? More details would be helplful.

Whoa...why is the engine coming out for a pulley?

he said the motor mount was in the way. i only talked to him for about a minute, he was at work. i told him to drop by when he got off work, wed go look at it. but thats not until probably saturday bc hes got school. im gonna suggest he come on here and discuss it, i dont know enough about what happened to help.

The mount "might" be in the way (but I doubt it, unlees you need to completely remove the belt), but even then, you shouldn't need to pull the engine. Support/move it with a floor jack, and remove just the mount.

I'm not as familiar with the NA'* as SC'*...but there'* a couple pullies on the SC'* and I'm thinking it'* either an idler or the water pump.

Neither require engine pulling. Only supporting while the motor mount is off to allow access to the pullies.

Bad new is..to get the mount off the engine you do have to unbolt the power steering pump. But that'* easy to do through it'* own pulley are two 13mm bolts. One at 12 oclock and one a 6
