I've never been to Meineke, but I don't trust them...just like I don't trust Valvoline to do my oil changes. I've heard enough bad stories.

I go to the dealer for that...even though it probably costs more.

I hope you get your money back...that is total BS, I'd threaten a lawsuit and they may settle out of court to avoid bad publicity, etc.... If it goes to small claims court I would not be surprised if you got punitive damages too.

Working in the Customer Service industry, the first thing I will say is BS!! Nothing they can do about it, their name is on the damn door! But, since they won't, I am positive the BBB will, if not then an I-Team type reporter or a lawyer should. You shouldn't have to spend even morem oney, so start with the BBB. That'* what they're there for.

I have been down this road with “Americas Tire” when my rim came off after they fixed a tire for me.

Lucky I didn’t pick the Freeway. I contacted the shop'* manager and in no time had the area manager secretly thanking god I didn’t sue. lol

They replaced all 4 tires and purchased a new rim for me.

Start with a talk to the owner on the phone. Record the date and time you call and the basic subject and make some notes. Based on that conversation decide your next move.

NO MATTER WHAT HE OWES YOU NEW TIRES AND A PROPER ALIGNMENT!

Be nice about your intentions and just give him a courteous call to let him know what you are looking for. I personally always give the person a chance to work it out. If he still holds back get a lawyer and see what you can get him for and go all the way.

Question is:

What really is the right numbers for the correct aligment for each tire and toe. Because I been to SEARS and they "aligned" my vehicle and it still drifts to the right. They say is a Caster problem or frame ajustment, and they don't have the machines to do this...

So, I was wondering if the Maintance Book or you guys, will have the right specs in numbers for each tire on alignment.

We don't want to make the same mistake by going to these so called Proffesional Mechanics (Thiefs) and have them still our money, instead I want to be prepare and give them the instructions on what to do, and to do it by the book. Cause we don't have time, the space, or the right tools. What we have is a concern and a little bit of money.

Go to a shop that is willing to manually check each tire to be sure they are good I had purchased new tires that were off and this caused my car to wander and to bump alot. Where are you doing the alignment test? Make sure it is a very flat area. Also make sure the shop you go to is informed you plan on being involved during the process. Once the independent finds all the issues you can decide how to chase the problem.

They are like a consumer watch dog. They can rate businesses based on costumer feedback. If a business doens't resolve complaints with customes they get a negative feedback. This is then published and tarnishes the companies reputation. You can submit complaints thu the BBB and they will help to get it straightend out. If you read thru the site you will get the jist of it.
