Default MAP sensor location

I recently had a check engine light come on for coe p0108. I know that this has something to do with the MAP sensor. Im having trouble finding the location of the sensor on my 3800 N/A engine. If anyone could point out where this is I would greatly appreciate it. I also woul like to know what vaccum lines I should check out. Thanks in avance

BTW, I think I may have found it. I found a sensor on the top of the intake manifold on the passengers side near the accesory belt. On the sensor it says pressure sensor, and has the labels for what the three wires are. Is this the right sensor?

ok, when i pulled it out, the map sensor broke in half, the little nipple part came off from the top. Do you think that is my problem?

that would be you problem. Any sensor broken would throw a code. Plus one that involves springs.

Default '92 Buick LeSaber map sensor

I have a '92 buick Buick lesaber and I am not able to find the location of it anywhere, I have googled and asked a mechanic friend of mine and still nothing. It is a 3800 engine...I think, to be perfectly honest I don't know much about cars

It would be better to start a new thread at this point, since the old one is over 6 years old.

Check the 8th digit of your cars VIN, if it is an L then you have no MAP sensor, only a MAF sensor.
I think Vin C motors before 92' also had no MAP sensors...

If you do not have the L in your VIN then see below..

It should be behind the throttle body, near the firewall/passenger side area.
You have a bracket above your rear valve cover right?
If so look there.

Timely post! My Bonnie started running really rough, and the CEL started flashing. A code scan at autozone said map sensor. Surprised how small it is. Rolled in here to search for where it'* located, and here we are! Still having the random misfires prior, don't know if it'* related. But I'll find out tomorrow. Thanks!
