These were the GM gaskets I used on my 95...

jr...those look a lot different than the 2nd gen Fel Pro lowers I put in my car.

and a LOT different than the first gen GM replacements...

The GM ones have a black silicone inlay as opposed to the Flepro Orange inlay... Could that be the diffrence?

actually the inlay is blue, no metal rings, and looks like the 2nd gen w/o the metal rings...

Would 95 lowers be different than 96 ? I mean both are L36s

Nope... They would be the same for 95-96... The Blue should be the first design( GM ) the black with the metal rings is the second design...

I know of a Company called ROL, I have seen the blue inlay gaskets from them as well..

I know that Bill Boost got the second generation for his car( Fel Pro ) and that set also had the metal rings...
