Low oil?

Low oil?
When my car starts I get the Low Oil light on. I don't remember this coming on before I switched to Mobil1, and i think it'* longer in winter. Anyone else notice this with their Synthetic oil?

When I first got my car it had the Low Oil light on too. The dealer said it would go off and the oil level was fine so I ignored it. About a week later sure enough it shut off and I never saw it again. I'm not sure if he used synthetic, but I did afterwards and never had an issue.

It comes on as part of the systems check when you first start the car. I think it'* supposed to stay on for less than 3 seconds (I remember seeing it in the manual).

The low oil indicator on these cars give a handfull of False Low Oil readings... Happens to mine every now and again weather I have Mobil, Havoline or Mobil 1 in there... Somtimes it doesn't do it for a month and then all of the sudden... Poof it might screw up several times..lol
