Default Low oil?

When my car starts I get the Low Oil light on. I don't remember this coming on before I switched to Mobil1, and i think it'* longer in winter. Anyone else notice this with their Synthetic oil?

When I first got my car it had the Low Oil light on too. The dealer said it would go off and the oil level was fine so I ignored it. About a week later sure enough it shut off and I never saw it again. I'm not sure if he used synthetic, but I did afterwards and never had an issue.

It comes on as part of the systems check when you first start the car. I think it'* supposed to stay on for less than 3 seconds (I remember seeing it in the manual).

Would it maybe have something to do with the pressure building up when you start it, like if the pressures low it'll thorw that light to maybe signify that there'* an issue with the oil?
