id start by scanning the computer to pull the codes. and that will give you a place to start with.

well i did scan the codes, said heater fan, but the heater fan works. I took it to the dealer he said the pcm or ecm was bad. Are they the same thing.

is your oil white foamy looking? if so stop driving it, you're going to kill it. other wise its leaking somewhere else.

cruise might be a vacuum leak, not sure about bonnies but i think its vacuum controlled.

the computer said that the heater fan was bad? wasn't that what you mean when you said the blower?
x2, if the oil is looking funny, stop driving the car till you fix the problem. sometimes the oil will look like coffee with creamer.

pcm and ecm refers to the same part. but technicall you have a pcm ( powertrain control module) ecm is just engine control

and by 98 the cruise was servo controlled.

but can you clarify the "blower" not working, you mean you have no boost, or no heat blowing?

the blower comes on intermittently, the oil looks fine and I think the cruise has to do with the pcm
